GARDEN VILLAGE AFC VACANCY

8 July 2015

Garden Village AFC are looking to appoint an Under 18’s Manager for the 2015-16 season, with an immediate start available.

The already successful Under 18’s team plays in the West Wales Youth League, where we are reigning League and Cup champions, having completed a clean sweep in the 2014-15 season, whilst also being unbeaten all through the season.

Previous experience of coaching/managing a Youth Team is desirable but not effectively essential. The successful applicant will be working closely with U19’s Manager, Russell Martin, to help develop the players, so they able to challenge for a place in the first team and reserve team, as well as the U19’s team. Training days and times will be discussed at the interview whilst matches are played on a Sunday afternoon. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building strong working links with the Junior Section of the club, to ensure that the already high standards of young players coming through the club is maintained.

AFC PORTH VACANCY

Due to Management restructuring, AFC Porth are looking to appoint a Reserve Team Manager/Player Manager for the coming season 2015-16.

The ideal candidate will have Welsh League football playing or coaching experience, although this is not essential.

The right candidate will be expected to work closely within our existing Senior and Youth structure in conjunction with the First and Youth team management, to help continue to develop the fantastic Youth set-up at the club, plus help players to progress into the first team squad, as well as bringing their own ideas to help move the club going forward.

Being available for training on a Thursday evening is essential, on Match days there will be help with the organisation, paperwork involved in running the team.

LEAGUE FIXTURES SECRETARY VACANCY

Tony Griffiths, the present Fixtures Secretary has informed the League of his intention to resign with effect from the Annual General Meeting on 27th June 2015.

The League will require a successor, and the following advert is being circulated.

The Welsh Football League is the largest Senior League in Wales, with three Senior Divisions, two Reserves Divisions, and two Youth Divisions.

The Fixtures Secretary will need to work within a dedicated team, and have knowledge of creating and maintaining all the fixtures within the League.

He will also have to be IT literate as the vast majority of the work is done Online.

There will be frequent contact with Club Secretaries, with the weekend the busiest period.

The Committee intend drawing up a shortlist for interview.
