- AFC Llwydcoed - Weekend Roundup


AFC Llwydcoed Welsh League & ARJFL Teams are now all back in action on Saturday they had six games winning four.




The Club's Nathaniel Cars Welsh League Reserve West Division Team are the Club's team of the weekend.




They welcomed Pontardawe Town to Llwydcoed and were losing 0-3 until the final twenty minutes and scored four goals through Kieran Evans, Adam Hawkins and our new signing Robert Evans (2) to win.




The Club's Welsh League Division 2 Squad travelled to AFC Porth and won 0-3; goalscorers Adam Butler, Luke Davies and Oliver Roberts an important victory after a poor few weeks.




Moving on to the Club's ARJFL U/12 teams the Blue Team lost 3-9 in a much improved display against Ynyshir/Wattstown goalscorers as follows – Joshua Bryant, Jamie Harries and Zac Blunt.




The U/12 Red Team travelled to Darren Park to play Ferndale and gained a brilliant win goalscorers – Tom Evans and Jayden Davies (pen)




The next age group saw the Club's U/13's also travel to Darren Park to play Ferndale U/13's and won their first game of the season 2-4 goalscorers - Jack Kathrens (3) Owen Jeffries (1).




The Club's U/14's Team also played a Ferndale Team but lost 1-6 goalscorer Tyler Gibbs.




The Sunday fixture gave us another two wins. The U/16's winning 4-3 against Cambrian/Clydach goalscorers – Lewis Jones hat trick and Scott Willis and 2-1 at home against Port Talbot goalscorers – Liam Price and Cian Cable,




So eight games played six victories.
