- AFC Llwydcoed v Chepstow Town - Match Report


 

Llwydcoed's final home game of the Season ended with a victory with a brace of goals by Joe Jenkins and Andrew Ellis against relegated Town who displayed plenty of good football and should bounce back into Division Two.

 

 

The opening minutes began with Llwydcoed missing some glorious opportunities with Joe Jenkins, Matthew Doherty and Jonathan Mason off target, the Town goalkeeper Simon Martin saving a certain goal with an important save The Town moved from the opening spell and almost created an opening through Nick Nesbit for Mark Roberts.

The second half started and finally opened the scoring with Joe Jenkins finishing off a move he soon added a second with a brilliant twenty yard rocket shot. The Town showed character and tried to reduce the scoreline but Llwydcoed finished the scoring when Andrew Ellis raced clear to finish brilliantly with a victory to send their supporters home with a smile on their faces.
