Llwydcoed and Garden Village played out a pulsating draw a vital point for the hosts at the end of the season.
The Village opened the scoring with a Llwydcoed defender scoring an own goal. The Village movement caused the danger after this difficult opening for the hosts. They rallied and the pressure on The Village defence won them a penalty for a hand ball incident. Elliott Morris scored the penalty the Llwydcoed strikers Robert Evans and Jonathan Mason were on top form and they took the lead through a Robert Evans screamer from 30 yards Llwydcoed finished the half on top.
The second half promised so much for Llwydcoed but The Village had other ideas, they took full advantage of Llwydcoed losing possession and won a penalty scored by Scott Smith and within a few minutes Callum Silcox gave them the lead. A torrid start by Llwydcoed, The Village were on top and the hosts showed lots of character and belief and gradually worked their way back into the game and equalised through Cori Mayby. The match was there for either team to win but after The Village team were reduced to ten players Llwydcoed were the team in charge, they began to win a series of free kicks and from one The Village goalkeeper James Kirkwood pulled off a top save as the ball was about to go into the top corner from Elliott Morris. So the final whistle blew with the points shared.
