WEEKEND REPORT 8/12/2018
AFC Llwydcoed Nathaniel Car Sales Welsh League Division Two Squad have now dropped down into the relegation places after defeat number eleven. The major problems for Co/Managers Matthew Driscoll and Lewis Holder is discipline disrupting the team selection plus injuries and work commitments. In total eight players were missing Saturday three injured three suspended and two young players Cian Cable and Leo Thomas who work on some Saturdays. So with two remaining games in 2018 the first one is away to STM Sports next Saturday 2.30 ko and Croesyceiliog at home on the 22nd December 2.00 ko. That leaves twelve remaining League games. The suspended players will be available and the injured so January is going to be a massive month as will every game fixtures as follows:-
5/1/2019 Pontardawe home 2.00 ko.
12/1/2019 Monmouth away 2.00 ko
19/1/2019 Bridgend St. home 2.00 ko.
Looking ahead to the end of the season work will begin in May on the building of two spectator stands 125 seats in each stand so the players have the incentive to retain their Tier 3 status and for all the Club's Junior players to aspire too.
Moving on to the Club's ARJFL fixtures:-
The U/12's are away next Saturday to Mountain Ash Mini's on Abercynon 3G
The U/13's Blue and Red Team are both home on the Ynys 11.15 ko and 9.45 ko respectively to Carnetown and Mountain Ash Juniors.
The U/14's are away to Ton & Gelli BGC on Pentre 3G 11.00 ko.
The following day the U/16's Blue Team welcome Cambrian / Clydach BGC U/16 to Llwydcoed 2.00 ko.
The final fixture before the ARJFL winter break sees the U/16 Red Team travel to Ton & Gelli BGC 2.00 ko.
